Firstly I bought my Novophone last week. I took it out of its packaging and connected the cord, plugged it into my iPhone and then I was transported back to 1970. The sound is very good to excellent, the Novophone also replicates that the overall tone like a landline. The sound in the receiver is even similar to the telephone company. When talking the echo-cancelling works well....as I did not have any echo. I called my wife's phone and heard how I sounded. Overall I am very impressed. I recommend this. My wife wants one now.

I bought a handset that I thought was a Novophone. Turned out it was like a cheap toy. I bought the Novophone and it was like night and day. It didn't feel like it was going to break in my hand. Fool me once, don't fool me twice.

Ordered the Black handset on Saturday and it came today! This is uber-awesome! I plugged it right into my Blackberry and started talking away. It just works and is so simple. This is such a great idea.

it is the best! I like it because it sounds like a landline, also it is just like the retro telephones from the 80s. It feels just like it. I am ordering another one for my parents as a surprise.

When I saw this, I didn't know what to make of it. But I ordered it as a joke, and this handset is actually better than I thought it was going to be. It does not feel like a toy and actually feels like a phone should. The sound is actually pretty good. I dont give five stars to anything, but I give this a solid four.
