It does what it says it does and you can hear your calls very clear.

I love the hand held receiver. It allows me to do many small jobs while I take care of business or personal calls. I can file, sort items and even put up dishes from the dishwasher! I purchased this item as my husband refused to use a cell phone at age 80. However, with the receiver, he is happy to talk over the cell phone and this allowed me to cancel my landline phone and save money. One of my sons has ordered one and another son ordered one for his mother-in-law!

Using my iPhone came to be a real pain and I got to where I would put off using it unless I really had to...
It was awkard to hold onto and was always slipping in my hands and I was always worried about dropping it. It was difficult for me to hear the other party unless I had the iPhone positioned just right and pressed hard against my head and the people I was talking to would often say that they couldn't hear me unless I was pressing the iPhone up against my cheek when speaking, so I had to alternate the position of the phone depending on who was talking. In fact, I actually got a cut on my ear from my iPhone.
I thought that a traditional handset would be a great solution since my ear canals do not permit using earbuds and so I looked online to see if anyone had the same idea and to see if there were options.
I saw the Novophone and several others brands when I went online.
I chose to purchase the Novophone and am glad that I did.
When I am going to be on the phone for a while, I grab my Novophone and it makes the phone conversation so much more enjoyable. I can hear better, the other party can hear me better and I can rest it on my shoulder and hold the phone hands free like we used to do before cell phones! So now, I don't hate using my iPhone anymore and I can slide the iPhone in my pocket and have much more comfortable conversations.

This time my order was for my teenage daughter. Luckily I received a free adapter for more up-to-date phones when I ordered mine so she was able to jump right in and use it. I've been enjoying my Retro Handset for months to socialize while doing retro chores like washing dishes and paying bills. At Christmas when my three siblings and their families were all at my house everybody was dazed and amazed. Expect many more orders form them!

I recieved the handset in record time. It has the look and feel of the hand set on the old rotary dial phones I remember. Best of all it works. Voice clarity is very clear. Makes the cellphone's' modern convenience comfortable to use when compact carry is not essential.

I love this thing. Of course I feel like I need to get a base to hold it. Hey, there you go... a base unit that would hold and charge a smart phone. Feel free, just send me one, lol. Seriously, just awesome and a new "hands free" thing that I dig much better than blue tooth. Only possible complaint is the positioning of the button, and that is a minor issue because I really don't know where else you'd put it. Just a great unit with excellent build quality. Damn nice stuff.

After trying many of the cheaper handsets, I found that your Novophone was the very best. It will work with the older phones needing 2.5mm plug size. The sound and clarity is wonderful. So much easier than holding the cell phone up for long calls. I can actually understand my brother when I talk to him. He mumbles. Great purchase.
